Khora: Maternal & Reproductive Psychology Lab

Khora: Maternal & Reproductive Psychology laboratory was started in 2012 to study mothers as subjects of interest in their own right, to uncover the biases in maternal mental health, and to coalesce the scattered research on matrescence across disciplines. In 2020, the lab's focus expanded to understand the greater reproductive spectrum and to help people of all genders and sexualities reflect on their reproductive potential!

This identityLORE laboratory focuses on minority stress theory, or, how societal structures and attitudes shape identity development and psychological health for members of marginalized groups. LORE stands for Laboratory for Oppression Resilience and Empowerment!
